I’ve had a portfolio career spanning manufacturing, product development, supply chain and technology — in start-ups, SMEs and multinationals, across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and global operations. And I keep running into the same problem. Not a shortage of ideas. Not a lack of talented people. The problem is always structural: the mechanisms, the culture, the inertia, the politics — all of it preventing improvement, preventing effective and sustainable solutions.

What makes it worse is the amount of time, effort and money spent on discrete ‘solutions’ without defining and understanding the underlying problem or root causes.

My work combines rigorous systems engineering, design thinking and systematic innovation to address this — presenting information in its complete context, and using that to develop systematic, structured transformations that make efficient use of resources. That thinking is the foundation of N-SCAPE.
