Introductory strategic workshop
For commissioning authority teams.
The workshop introduces the framework through discussion of the UK Pathfinder Application, followed by a live mapping exercise on the selected industrial challenge, sketching existing assumptions and perceptions.
Consultancy
The principles and methods within N‑SCAPE can be applied at multiple scales. While the framework is designed for national and regional ecosystem transformation, the same approach is applicable for technology commercialisation, diversification assessments, and strategic investment decisions. By mapping capabilities, dependencies and material flows with the same rigour used in national assessments, organisations can identify viable pathways, reduce uncertainty, and de‑risk investment through evidence‑based strategy formation.
SKills module
A two‑week skills module is also available. This is designed to be delivered in partnership with a University postgraduate programme team. The purpose is to build local capability to support N‑SCAPE delivery.
The module provides postgraduate learners with hands‑on experience of the N‑SCAPE methodology, enabling participants to conduct landscaping, identify strategic opportunities, and develop a Transformation Vision for a chosen technology or sector.
